Five Generations

Pleasantville Beef is a farm located in Forest Hill, MD which sits on the Piedmont Plateau in Central Maryland. The farm is a subdivision of the original property that has been in the family since 1869. The original farm took many shapes over the years and has raised cattle, horses, chickens, and pigs while also growing a variety of crops. 

Pleasantville began its Angus cow calf operation in 2008 and what started off as a hobby has grown into a budding local retail operation. Our family is deeply rooted in agriculture and we are proud that we are a 5th generation family farm and that we can continue to carry on this tradition.
